Spain and Portugal’s culture is tied more to the Mediterranean Sea because they are cut off from Europe due to the giant mountain range. Spain is very culturally diverse having been influenced by many nations and peoples throughout its history and the environment but the Mediterranean influenced them the most. They are isolated because of the Pyrenees Mountains. Spain and Portugal have cultures that are distinct from their neighbors Europe because there geography isolates them.
France and Germany have similar cultures and histories. They have similar cultures because the same groups of people influenced them and they live around the same area. The Holocaust and World War Two also played a role in them having the same history because Germany took over most of the area.
Spain and Portugal has an isolating geography because the Iberian Peninsula is sticking out of Europe and has water on three sides. It is also closed off from Europe because of the giant mountain range have played a big role of how it wasn’t connected to Europe it was.
