scandinavian countries

Vikings once inhabited most Scandinavian countries. The countries are Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway. They are above Europe but are still a part of Europe. The absolute location of Norway is 10° North latitude 65° East longitudes. Scandinavian countries have a unique physical geography because of volcanoes and glaciers
The most important natural resource in the Scandinavian countries is trees because 90% of their land is covered in forests. Most of Norway has fjords or inlets that make it easier to get goods farther inland than on the coast. Most of Norway has glaciers and geysers on Iceland.
In the Scandinavian countries there are lots of glaciers forming like hanging valleys that carve into the top of a mountain. Norway also has more than 100 active volcanoes. In Iceland they use geothermal energy, or volcano power, to heat their houses.
